I have a large clunking/grinding sound that I can now feel coming from the Drivers Side front end when the vehicle is under power, I have also noticed that the ABS engage at low speeds while slowing down.

Lower control arm bushings and lower ball joints can cause a noise like this. But I have fixed a few that sounded like the front end was falling offf. It turned out to be the air conditioning plenum under the dash. There is a tube that comes loose some how. this tube stretches all the way across the dash. you can see part of it under the drivers side, it disappears in the center. I take a piece of thick foam and wedge it under the tube towards the center column. Most times this gets rid of the noise or most of it. No one wanted to pay to take apart the dash to fix the passenger side.

The Dust Cover for the Bearings May have Come Loose. Remove the Wheel and the Center Cap and see if it is not Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!in there.

sounds like ball joint or steering linkage problem..ever have accident or slam curb hard ?...does she steer true or is it loose?...if all else seems to feel ok and you dont feel the clunk and have your steering actually move when it clunks.... your axle (cv joint) is failing
