Does a 2004 Suzuki Verona have a catalytic converter? I am trying to see how much a replacement catalytic converter would cost, but when I try to look it up, I keep only getting hits on oxygen sensor listings. This is making me wonder. Also, how do I know which oxygen sensor has gone bad. My check engine light keeps coming on and the code is saying it's my oxygen sensor.

It should be in the exhaust downpipe, between the engine and the catalytic converter.

SOURCE: check engine light

I found that my check engine light comes on when I fail to turn the gas cap two clicks. It has something to do with the air . After I paid $50 for one of those diagnostics, I always make sure when it comes on to check if my husband failed to click the gas cap, correct the problem and the check engine light goes out before I have to gas up the next time and will stay off as long as I am the sole driver.

How many oxygen sensors does a 2004 Suzuki Verona have and where are they?

You would have Four of them. There are Two Upstream for Cylinders 1-3, and 4-6. Then there are Two Downstream for Cylinders 1-3 and 4-6. Look at the rear of the engine and you will see the Catalytic Converter canisters sitting there. There will be a Sensor before and after each Cat with the wiring harness up toward the top of the engine. There is a Sensor for each bank with one upstream, before the Cat and one downstream, after the Cat.

How many oxygen sensors does a 2004 suzuki verona have? and if my check engine light is on which sensor do i need up stream or downstream? I went to auto zone and the number was 430 and it said oxygen...

I suggest you take it to cetified service center. This is a very exspensive guess. 2 is what you have but if not diagnosed properly, cost can get out of hand.

HEY! I HAVE A HOLLOW RATTLING SOUND INSIDE THE PIPE WHERE TWO PIPES JOIN FROM THE MANIFOLD ON MY 2004 SUZUKI XL7 V6. IS THAT THE "Y-PIPE"? HELP!

That is your Catalytic Converter. The noise is the honeycomb chamber that has come apart and moving around. Replace it as soon as you can. Typical for most vehicles over 80k miles.
