Replace one at a time remove coil from first plug then remove sparkpug, install new sparkplug,no need to check gap on plug, not needed on that type of plug (double platinum) tighten plug slightly tight, then reinstall coil and go on to next same way.

2002 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4L Engine is running rough when I accelerate

Have you changed your spark plug wires and distributor cap? You might have a spark jumping from a bad wire or distributor cap. Under acceleration, the amount of air/fuel in the cylinder increases and this may make it harder for a spark to jump across the plug gap. It may be finding a different path, and that is what's causing your engine to run rough. Spray water over your spark plug wires in a dark place and listen to see if your engine runs rough. Look for where the spark is jumping from a wire or distributor cap.

My Endeavor will crank but will not start. What could be wrong? It has gas. Battery is good.

Sounds as if the engine is not getting fuel injection. Check if the engine is getting fuel deliver for the combustion to take place. You can crank the car all day long but if is not getting fuel it will not start. Also check the spark plugs. They need to be delivering the proper spark to the combustion chamber. Check all fuses.

How do you change spark plugs?

Hi my name is Tom and I can help you.

There is information that you must get when you pick up the spark plugs at the store. Ask the auto parts clerk what the plug gab is for your car. He will be happy to give you the info. If not go to a different store. You might ask him for a feeler gage. This tool is used to show the gap on the plugs.

Come home and open the engine department of the car. Take the wire off any spark plug using a spark plug wrench. Check the gap using the feeler gage.
Replace the wire onto the new plug. Repeat with the remaining plugs and wires

I trust that this is enough info for you to change the plugs. If not, I am more than willing to help you further.

Sincerely
Tom

Cant find the spark plugs

Here's a link that will help you. I've included the info that you need to locate the plugs below. Good luck!

http://www.ehow.com/how_4484637_replace-spark-plugs-oldsmobile-alero.html

To gain access to the spark plugs and spark plug wires do the following. In a 2.4 liter engine, remove the ignition coil and module assembly from the top of the engine to gain access. In this Alero model's engine, the spark plugs run down the center of the engine. In a 3.1 liter engine, remove the air cleaner to gain access. The spark plugs are located next to the engine oil reservoir. For a 3.4 liter engine, remove the windshield wiper module cover and rotate the engine for service access. For a 2.2 liter engine, the spark plug wires are located across the top of the engine and require no components to be removed for access to the spark plugs.

There are 4 small coild on the top of the motor, these are the ignition coils, 1 per spark plug. You have to pull the coils and the spark plugs are under them.
