Drain all hoses and drain rad then unbolt it from the front grill and remove it you may have to also remove the cooling fan if it is attached to rad I do not believe it is if not just ignore that part if it has a transmission cooler line on bottom disconnect that as well but try to keep tranny oil from leaking out try putting a baggy over it with a rubber band to keep the fluid in when you remove it also do all this with a cold engine so you do not get burned

1992 Toyota Celica - coolant spraying out of overflow, fan didnt seem to be going on. Smells like coolant, so dont think that it is the head gasket. Temperature gauge going up now, but not at first....

There is a fan coolant temperature sensor on the bottom of the radiator, it has an electrical connector on it, with the key on disconnect the connector, if the fans run constantly with the connector off replace this sensor.
