My hyundi accent wont start and the engine management light is on

Immobiliser, relays, wiring, connections - it could be almost anything and you haven't given us many clues.

A certain amount of checking should be done when it doesn't start in order to provide those clues. Does it crank, has the immobiliser disarmed, is there a spark, is the fuel pump running..?

when iI spoke to hyundi about fitting hid conversions to my Tuson I was told that the engine management system would need updating and a special unit fitted called an ignitor to each headlamp....? I never bothered as the cost was extortionate.

the problem you have is the nuts that hold the wiper to the motor came loose . just need to be tighten

Sensors may not help you. Define "wont start". cranks? wont crank? cranks but wont run? Check engine light on with key on?

Happened to me, too. On Hyudai Getz 1.5 CRDi (3 cylinder). It was just jammed butterfly (air regulator) where air is entering to machine for combustion. Due to low quality diesel soot is gathering on this butterfly and finally blocks it. However, the same problem could appear if air filter is full of dirt or blocked by dirt, or if there is computer problem in sending wrong information for combustion to engine.

Sounds like the timming belt is loose and or a pully is bad. However it could simply be a worn alternator or power steering belt.

take the vehicle in to a hyundi dealer they can let you know whats going on by testing the system / was it in an accident do your seat belts work /if you answer one of these questions with a yes let me know I will reiterrate a little more/ Pleas rate my response thank you very much
