Re: Dome light and door lights don't come on when open...
Try looking for the door switch it is usually mounted on the inner door frame sometimes they stick when older and will not come out all the way to activate the light
Try the flat button above the round knob that dims the instrument panel, and turns on the dome light at its full right position. It sort of looks like a switch plate but its actually a switch: the dome override. In the 'out' position, your dome lights should come on when any door is opened.Try the flat button above the round knob that dims the instrument panel, and turns on the dome light at its full right position. I had the same problem. I had to check the fuses in the engine compartment, I then had to replace two 15 amp fuses, after I replaced the fuses the problem was gone.
