Just got new tires (again) on my 2006 M3. I have multiple yellow warning lights including the ABS, tire pressure sensor, the big one in the middle and the brake light is red. None of these were on when the tire went flat. Also I had some touch up painting done while in the shop but I don't think this had anything to do with it.

I had back tires and brakes replaced on a Toyota 2006 Solara las month. Yesterday I got a flat and the tire pressure sensor light did not go on. Firestone where I had the work done said that there wasnt...

OK, the tire pressure sensor in most vehicles works like a wheel rotational counter on all 4 wheels using the antilock braking system wheel speed sensor.

If you drive the vehicle long enough on a low pressure tire, for instance, then it will alert the driver as to the condition of the inflation of the tire being low.

There usually is no actual tire pressure sensor in most automobiles sold in North America foreign or domestic.

There are some systems that use a radio transmitter on a cap to a module but that's aftermarket.

I don't believe anyone removed the 'tire pressure sensor' that is actually a wheel speed sensor that is included in the ABS system. That would trigger the ABS light to go on.

I have a KIA Sportagae 2006. A light lit up on my dashboard which is yellow, looks like a horseshoe and has an explanation point in the middle. What does that mean?

I believe the exclamation point inside the lines(which are supposed to be a tire symbol) is a low tire pressure warning indicator. Check all tire pressures, as a drop of just 10% will set the lamp off. It will take up to 5 minutes with the car running for the lamp to shut off after filling tires. Hope this helps.

GOOD LUCK i hope this is of help

My ABS light is coming on what does that mean?

1. check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure

2. turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If the low tire pressure warning light comes on, push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch (think the switch is in the glovebox, but not sure) until the warning light turns off and then release the switch.

3. now press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.

4. initialization is *not* completed until driving at the vehicle speed of 19 mph or over for more than one hour. the tire pressure monitoring starts when initialization is completed.

As for the ABS light, that means your antilock brake system has detected an issue such as a block sensor, or a faulty relay, etc.. when this light is on, it means that your abs may not engage when it should, or may engage when it shouldn't.

I'm missing the owners manual and a yellow warning light came on this morning on the dashboard. It looks like a horse shoe with the open part facing up and an ! point in the middle of it. What does this...

That is usually a tire pressure sensor warning light telling you that your tire pressure is at an unsafe level or that a sensor is bad. Think of that symbol as a cutaway of a tire.

As for the owner manual, you can get a copy by registering at the Toyota Owner's Site. It is free.
