How do I fit a new focus 2004 reg non electic wing mirror (whole unit) ?

how short are they check using your old mirror all you may need to do is get longer screws

didnt know they made a ford focus in 1956 ,they still made the MK1 zeyphr and zodiac then the ford consul didnt come out till till 1957 ,so i assume its a modern focus and to change a mirror is a simple job just pull the triangular trim off the inside of the door at the back of the mirror and you will see three screws ,you should be able to unplug the multiplug without taking the door panel off undo the screws and the mirror come off .

You have to remove the sail cover that's on the opposite side of the mirror. It is held on by just some plastic lips on the edges. Pry off carefully. There is one speed nut at the very front of the mirror and one large nut in the center. That's it. Don't drop the big nut into the door panel.

Hm, this may be a trip to the dealer.. Other alternatives include your local salvage yards. Carpart.com (a search tool which searches the inventory of scap yards nationwide) shows a few mirrors on there, but they are the same price as new ones listed on eBay. Good luck!

How do i replacethe Mercedes sprinter heated wing mirrors.

no problem its as easy as falling off a log,just prise the small plastic triangular trim off thats on the interior of the wing mirror and a star screwdriver .that easy trust me .shouldnt take more than 3 minutes

you have to buy a complete mirror either from ford or aftermarket around $60 aftermarket

Check at a breakers yard you may be able to find a suitable replacement with mirror intact for less than a new on can be had. Or check a glass shop to see if they can cut a replacement to the size you require.

on the inside of the car in the corner of the door is a blck plastic piece remoce that and you should see a couple of screws(think they where starbits last i checked) take those out and then you should be able to remoce the mirror from there.-z

TO FIT A NEW MIRROR FIRST CONNECT THE WIRING PLUGS THEN ENSURE THE FRICTION PIN ON THE BACK OF MIRROR ENGAGES IN THE SLOT (OUTER EDGE OF MIRROR) PRESS FIRMLY AT THE CENTRE OF THE MIRROR TO ENGAGE THE RETAINING CLIP....IF YOU NEED TO REMOVE MIRROR INSERT A FLAT TOOL BEHIND THE LOWER EDGE AND LEVER IT FROM THE CLIPS..
