Question about 1992 Toyota Celica
Hello All - I'm hoping someone here can give me a few ideas. My 92 toyota celica st has sit for about 5 days - for the last 3 days the temp outside has been in the single digits. Went to go start today and it really cranks hard like it wants to start and almost did a few times but never did. I started wearing the battery down so I stopped any ideas?? It was running great when I parked it 5 days ago. PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT>>THANKS!!
I would start, since it is cold outside by checking to make sure the battery is in good shape. If it is not, it will run but when the cold comes it will eventually not turn over. Note: Turning on the lights to see if they are bright is not a good check for the batteries abilty to crank the car. If you have a Checker or Autozone or other auto parts store see if they can test your battery for you.
With the sudden stop starting I would also suspect possibly the fuel pump or the pump relay.
