The fuel filter may be under the car , it is located near the passenger seating area under the vehicle or it may be on the driver side near the seating area, if you still can not locate the filter, you can locate the fuel by tracing the fuel lines foeard and you should be able to locate the fuel filter.

Where is the fuel filter on a 1992 buick regal

Driver side in front of the rear wheel. Follow the fuel line under the doors. I think it has a nut on one side and a clip on the other.

Sounds like a possibe fuel problem. Fuel filter or pump possibly. Check filter first. Much cheaper!

88 buick regal will run and drive fine for two miles, then shuts off, wont restart till it sits about two hours

suspect the fuel pump or the gauze filter on the bottom fuel of the fuel pick up pipe as this age vehicle could have a metal petrol tank and they corrode inside and deposit rust that gets caught up in the filter

My son owns a 85 Buick Regal 3.6 V. He just replaced fuel filter, now engine will not idle and it appears fuel is overflowing from the carb. When I RIV the engine it stops overflowing burning the extra...

if the fuel is over flowing you may have to rebuild the carb seems like the needle valves are getting stuck i really would have to say that the fuel filter has nothing to do with this problem.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 1999 Buick Regal

Open the trunk. Pull the bottom liner free from the trunk by hand, then remove it fully from the vehicle.Remove seven nuts holding down the fuel pump access cover, using a wrench. Lift the cover up and off the cover studs.

Remove the fuel pump retainer with a pair of inside snap-ring pliers. Carefully lift the pump assembly out of the tank. Use caution when handling the pump assembly, as the float and float arm are delicate and can be easily damaged.

Carefully pry the fuel filter off the pump intake nipple, using a flat screwdriver.
Reverse the disassembly steps to reassemble the fuel filter on your Regal.

I DRIVE MY 1997 BUICK WITH SUPER CHARGER MOSTLY IN TOWN DRIVING AND I PUT 87 OCT FUEL IN THE CAR AND IT SEEMS TO DRIVE FINE WITH NO PINGING SOUND SO I ASK WILL IT DAMAGE MY ENGINE?

Hello there. No 87 oct fuel will not hurt the engine. As you say , the engine is not pinging or having any real valve noise. In the Summer when you use the A/C , you may need to go to the higher octain fuel , or run a can of octain boost as well. Thank you , Quinn Texada
