Question about 2007 Volkswagen New Beetle Coupe
Depending on engine, 2.0, 1.8 and 1.6 petrol have the usual steel cased filter underneath you just need to unscrew it off, you will need to remove the plastic undertray to access it though. 1.9 tdi and anything else without a clearly visable steel filter underneath will have a round plastic cap somewhere under the engine cover, around four inches wide, with either a 32mm or 36mm hex on the top. Unscrew this cap and the filter should come out with it.
