Power windows stopped working

If ALL the windows quit working, then it's either a bad circuit breaker or a short circuit. There are two fuse/relay/breaker panels: under the hood and under the back seat cushion. The power window circuit breaker is under the back seat cushion, near the battery. Remove the back seat completely, then remove the fuse panel top and inner cover. The fuse diagram is inside the top cover. Circuit breaker # 57 is the one. Pull it out. Use your voltmeter/multi-tester to check for continuity through the breaker. If there's no continuity, the breaker is bad and needs to be replaced. If it's good, then you have a dead short somewhere that causes the self-resetting breaker to uncouple when you attempt to operate a window. If so, the short will need to be traced down and repaired. Good luck.

Power windows, doors, seats quit working

There is a good chance that all of these circuits are protected by the same fuse. If only one circuit has an overload condition, the fuse will blow and then all of them will quit working.
Check the fuse for those circuits and replace with the correct size.
Your car manual should give a location or the fuse box cover has a fuse position index.
Operate the different accessories until the fuse blows. That one is the culprit.
You can then troubleshoot that circuit for the problem.
Possible wire shorted to ground or maybe the motor windings are shorted.

Driver's side power seat and heat in both seats not working

hello, have someone check all fuses-and plugs for the power seat, they may be a relay for this problem, can call autoparts store and ask about any relays for the heated seats and the power seat, if thats not it you may have to replace, electric motor for seat, sounds like a fuse, the way it all quit working..

My power seat stopped working in my 2003 Yukon XL. The heated seats stopped working as well.

Try this remove the ckt breaker for the power seats the ckt breaker is located in the fuse box inside down by the drivers left foot. leave breaker out for about 10 seconds then reinstall it and see if the seat starts moving. If it does there is a reprogram for this and needs to be done by a dealer or someone who has access to be able to reprogram your vech.
several things could cause your heated seats to not work. If the seat and heated seat seat stopped at the same time could be the reprogram could fix it. If the heated seat quit working at a differant time it could be the seat heater element. get a schematic of the heated seat and ohm the wires for the element. If either element tests open then the element will need to be replaced. You might as well replace both of them at the same time since the seat covers have to come off to replace the seat heaters.(back and bottom ) If one element is bad then both heaters quit working.

The driver seat heater just quit. all fuses are good. how do you tell if the relay is good?

Swap it with a relay you know to be good and see if it works again, pick a relay that is not important to the function of your car.

Power windows only work part time Power door locks only work part time Vehicle info center quit working Dash gages go off and on The fore stated problems occur in the first 30 minutes after starting then...

you have a short in your electrical systemwhich could be fatal. first, batterycables are clean and tight. second, check for loose wires at the starter. third, check each and every fuse, make sure the correct amps are on the fuse. check your light switch. if these attempts fail, then take to an electronics tech.

04 Lincoln Navigator folding mirrors, seat memory, seat dont work

most likely a pinched wire around the seat causing a short to the seat frame every once in a while when the seat is in the right place. start with checking stuff that moves most often (driver's memory seat)
