Well you can pour hot water in the resivor, and when it melts, make sure you use it, till it runs dry...And then make sure you put the proper windshield washer fluid in the resivor...Do not add any water...because your typical fluid will not freeze...but when you add water, it will freeze...

How do i fix my windshield wiper fluid if its frozen in the lines inside the walls of my 2000 Toyota Rav4?

You canstart your car and let it heat up on its own, it will eventually get thawed, or you can remove the lines and thaw them out indoors using warm tap water. The pump can freeze and bust as will the tank, so inspect those too when you get the lines thawed out.

Wiper fluid keeps freezing drained all old wiper fluid and put in rain x -25 and it still froze

Rain X should have alleviated the freezing problem assuming that you circulated enough of it through the tubing and through the nozzles before it froze again.

Maybe try to disassemble the nozzle and soak in the Rain X solution or warm water to unfreeze it.

Trace the piping or tubing to the place where the frozen water exists and eliminate the ice by warming it up.

You may take the whole vehicle to a heated garage and let it thaw out, then circulate the fluid by pushing the button or switch to operate the windshield wiper fluid pump.

Windshield washer pump fpr a 2006 chevy impala is there a fuse that could be bad ?

Yes, you could check for a fuse burnt out, but generally if the windshield washer pump doesn't buzz or turn so you can hear it, it means that in this weather, it is frozen up or burnt out. Usually it's just frozen with summer formulatioin of windshield wiper fluid which freezes at 32 deg. F.

Try to warm up the car in a heated garage to see if the windshield wiper fluid becomes unfrozen.

And, try to flush out the old fluid when you get it the pump free of ice, and install -20 deg. F or better wiper fluid.

Good luck on this repair.

The driver's side of my windshield washer is clogged and no fluid comes out. Could be frozen? What do I do to clear the blockage. Car is 2005 Pontial Sunfire 4-door.

you wait until it gets warmer, or take a hair dryer to it, when it does unfreeze use the higher cost stuff with antifreeze in it.

The windshield washer quit working on my 2003 325i BMW and the fluid id full. what are the possible problems and fixes?

If you don't hear the pump spinning or pumping then it's a possible bad electrical pump, or it's the wiring to it, a fuse, or the fluid is frozen in the pump if the weather is too cold (below 32 deg. F with 32 deg. F windshield wiper fluid).

Windshield water pump wont shoot water what do i do?

Was it on a cold day below 32 deg. F? If it was, could you verify that the proper season windshield wiper fluid was added? If not, then may have to wait until a warm day for it to unfreeze.

Do you hear the water pump whizzing or operating when you press the button to shoot water?

If not, then it's a possible bad pump, assuming that the fluid is not frozen.

Good luck on this repair.

The windshield washer fluid is not coming out?

Check for frozen conditions in the nozzles. Do you hear the washer pump running? Try to disconnect the hose somewhere before the nozzles and test. If you get plenty of pressure, clean or unfreeze the nozzles. Use winter mix. Good luck.

Windshield Washer Fluid does not come out when activated to. W/W Fluid is full and Jeep has been in garage - so not frozen. What is next to do ?

if your wipers work it is not a fuse,
if you cannot hear the pump humming when you push the wash button you will need to replace it,they are around $20.00 at Autozone

Windshield washer fluid is not being pumped out

Has it got to below freezing in your area recently? If so, your fluid is probably frozen and will need to be replaced. That is the only thing I can think of. It happened to me recently! Good luck I hope this helps
