Need back speakers to go plugs been cut on radio

Car stereo speakers usually consist of 4 sets of colors one solid and one with a stripe in each set. The solid would be positive while the stripe would be negative. Easy way to figure out what wires goes where is connect one set and use the balance/fade control on stereo to determine the speakers position. Hopefully this helps . Good Luck

Tried to put an aftermarket radio.

Hello, If you haven't cut any wires you really don't need to. They make a plug that you can get at wally world for about $15. It makes a clean installation and when you get ready to sell the envoy you will be able to replace the aftermarket back with the stock radio. It will make the wiring simple and easy also has an adapter for the antenna. Please rate my answer, Thank you.

Left Rear (-) Yellow
Right Rear (+) Red
Right Rear (-) White

I a '83 camry, there are 2 seperate plugs that go into a factory radio.
One for Power/and front speakers, and the other for rear speakers.

Sounds as if you are missing part of the harness for the rear speakers (or it is shoved in the back of the dash unused by the previous install). If there is not an un-cut plug in the dash - your only course of action would be to run your own set of speaker wire to the rear.

See this picture... these are the plugs that should go into your factory radio....

Metra kit 71-1938 will go from your factory wiring directly into your factory radio.

Radio wiring problem 2001 Audi A3

Hi, had total issues with this too! Your back speakers arent going because they are amped by the factory amp in the boot. You have to provide power to the amp so that it will turn the rear speakers on. This was a white and black striped wire in my car (Audi A3 1997) The rear speakers are blue /green and brown/red (left rear) , and the LH rear is brown/red and (forgotten colour) but the wire on the bottom left under those two brown/red wires on the 20pin harness. If you wire it all up like this then your rears should be going :)
