Question about 1998 Pontiac Sunfire

1 Answer

While driving by 1998 pontiac sunfire automatic transmission, sometimes my car will stall as I turn or come to a stop and I lose all power. I have to pump the gas to get going again, when turning of stopping, so I don't stall. Is it serpentine belt?

Can your car stall if there is a timing chain issue

The timing belt/chain could have jumped a 'tooth'.
Did this 'new' behavior start all-of-a-sudden, or did it slowly get worse??

5 speed manual transmission wont shif gears while running

You probably have air in the system. You need to bleed the air out of the system so that it will disengage your clutch. The air in the system is compressing and, therefore, the slave cylinder can't reach the full extension.
