Body vibration - 2000 Ford Focus

More information needed. Does it do it at all speeds? (Could involve an ignition problem.) Does it do it when accelerating from a stop? (Could involve tire balance, tread separation or CV joint problem.) Does it do it when applying the brakes? (Could involve warped brake rotors or out of round drums.) Does it do it at cruise? (Could involve vacuum leak or several other problems.) There are a lot of systems that cause a vibration - from harmless to major. What are the conditions when it occurs?

Check your: engine mount or trans top mount and trans lower mount. This is a common problem we see in the shop all the time.

What causes exstream body vibration on my cbr 2001 929 to where i feel it in the throddle

Engine and transmission mounts bad. All engines have some vibration to them. The mounts are in rubber and they absorb a lot of the vibration.

What could make the steering of my Honda accord 1993 vibrate each time l engage d gear to drive this get worst when d ac is on the vibration is more noticeable.

Sounds like bad engine/trans mounts. The more load you put on it the more vibration engine makes. If mounts are bad, vibration will transfer to body and steering

Enging vibrating at idle

1) It is very possible your engine mounts can be worn, but

2) the vibration you feel may be also due to the idle itself degrading to the point that the car is shaking. Does the engine sound like it is getting ready to die? what is the engine rpm when you feel the vibration? You may just have a dirty throttle body. In this case, clean the throttle body plate and bore and the problem will go away.

3) did the problem seem to come on suddenly or gradually, if gradually, you may just need some plugs and/or wires, and/or cap/ignition rotor, etc. (a tune up)

4) Also, do you only feel the vibration when the AC system is on?

5) there are some other reasons for abnormal engine vibration at idle, but the above are some of the most common, and simpler to repair.

All the best with the repair!
