Sorry to tell you this but it sounds like the wheel bearing was put in backwards on one or both sides. the front wheel bearings have a black speed ring built in and that is what your speed sensor reads off. - this is common as the front bearings will install either way- hope this helps

Replaced the disc, pads and wheel bearings on the front. Now ABS and handbrake lights are on as well as when I drive the D light flickers

Check the speed sensors on the bearing hubs you replaced. Did you damage the wire harness when you changed out the hubs. Did you reset the abs system. You got some work to do & if you don't have the equipment to do it, bring it to a mechanic who does. This may lead you back to the dealer, sorry. Several abs systems are specific to a dealer.

2007 hondaodyssey front left speed sensor

A front wheel sensor in this case is the ABS sensor. Chances are the sensor was damaged when the wheel bearing was replaced.

The sensor is mounted on the wheel bearing carrier/housing in such a way that it is ½-1mm or so away from a tone ring, a segmented or toothed ring often on the outer CV joint (technically a Rzeppa joint) outer surface. The toothed ring rotates and the Hall-effect magnetic sensor picks up and transmits the square-wave signal to the antilock brake system electronic control module which uses the signal to activate the brake or control the engine power output in braking or stability control situations. If it has failed you should have a bright yellow circle on your instrument panel with ABS inside it.

My2007 0dyssey was told the left front wheel speed sensor failed-- how can I tell when driving the car

You will not notice any change in driveability due to ABS sensor. On braking the computer will not be able to control the anti lock system as it can not read the Left front wheel speed. Only time you will hear a woo woo sound if the Wheel bearing goes bad and has play. Otherwise if you plug in a OBD II code reader you will find
Code C0035 for Left front Wheel Sensor Malfunction.

What is the 2006 honda civic front wheel bearing torque spec

what the hell are you talking about? you have sealed wheel bearings. the preload is already set at the bearing manufacturer. the bearing is pressed into the spindle unit and the front axles are secured to the hub. hub is pressed into the inner race of wheel bearing.

How do i remove a seized up rear wheel bearing on a 2 wheel drive 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Touring

How do you know its the bearings.

Aussuming the car is front wheel drive, what happens when you try to drive it? Does it drag the wheel? There is a chance it may break it free since you've gone over it with a slege hammer.

My ABS light came on in my 99 honda accord what does it mean?

Normally when your abs light comes on, that is referring to your breaks. This could be low break fluid, leak in break hose somewhere, or need breaks checked. Most cars now a days, have a sensor that is part of and hooked up to your breaks, and that will trigger your abs system (which is breaks) and let you know if your pads are low, or to the ware mark. So Here is what you first do, is check your break fluid and make sure that resavor is full, check under car to make sure there is no leaks, under car and inside each wheel area where breaks are, and then next step, is Les Swab can check your breaks for free and let you know if your pads are down to the ware mark. Let me know, Mike

YEP BAD WHEEL BEARING WILL MAKE A ROARING LIKE NOISE WHILE IN MOTION.BAD WHEEL COULD PUT DRAG ON WHEEL WHICH CAUSE ABS LIGHT TO COME ON.YOUR WHEEL BEARING HAS THE WHEEL SPEED SENSOR BUILT INTO IT.SO IF WHEEL BEARING BAD THE WHEEL SPEED SENSOR PART OF ABS BRAKE SYSTEM WILL CAUSE ABS LIGHT TO COME ON IF WHEEL BEARING BAD.MAKE SURE FRONT BRAKE PADS INSTALLED CORRECTLY IF NOT. YOU WILL GET TERRIBLE WHEEL NOISE ALSO.
