Mcdevito75 here, It could be the sensor on one of the fron Disc brake pads telling you the front brakes need to be checked, or one of the front wheel bearings. Have your shop check it out.

I replaced the wheels hubs on my 2009 Pontiac g5 and it's still making a whining sound from the front end as I gain speed.

Whining sounds come from diffs that have a problem in the mesh between the crown wheel and pinion If yours is not front wheel drive then the noise may be from over tightened wheel bearings or failed bearings or the abs sender touching the exciter

Could be anything connected with the front wheels.
So that includes hub-wheel bearings, axle joints, the differential gears, and the transmission.

Whining noise is probably in one of the pulleys or belts. Probably the power steering. And the popping is probably CV axles.

You say it does it in gear or not? I ASSUME it only makes noise when the car is moving? and whines according to road speed? Get wheels offthe ground and spin each wheel. now grab the coil spring above each wheel and feel for a vibration.

Apparently the whine is car speed related and not engine speed. I'm surprised that you didn't say anything about checking the wheel bearings?

2004 Grand Cherokee Whine - What is the Problem

It sounds like your power steering fluid is low. When the fluid is low there will almost always be a constant growl coming from the pump. Worst case - it may be the pump itself going bad. . I own 3 Jeeps but have only had this problem on my 87 Cherokee.
Ford PS pumps are notorious for making noise as they get old, but they still seem to work ok. This may be the case with your Jeep. If the PS still works and the fluid level is normal, it may just be a matter of whether or not you can stand to listen to the noise.

Most likely a one of the two shafts that carry the gears in the inside of the gear box has fallen down. The cause of this, is the bearing at the front of the shaft has worn out and the shaft dropped. The gears are unable to mesh anymore.
