Question about 1995 Ford Escort
I have a 1995 escort lx, 4cylinder 1.9L. I have had the battery and alternator checked. The battery, a dura start, is producing more cold cranking amps than what the label says it should. After I park it for the night, and come out in the morning, the battery, a dura start, is completely dead. The battery light stays on above 1000 rpms when the car is warmed above the C on the temp guage. It also stays on when its above 1500 rpms when the car is freshly turned on. Also, the orange driver shaped light blinks twice when i shift into passing gear. Some accasories, like rear defrost, turns the light off ONLY when not in park. Im a novice car guy, so I have no idea. Thanks for you're time.
Sounds like a door jar warning or seatbelt try disconnecting the ground cable and but a test light between the cable the battery ground post if somethng is drawwing juice the light will come on .if its bright you have a short pull fuses until the light goes dim and thats your trouble maker
