Question about 1996 Cadillac DeVille
Take it to Auto Zone or Another part store that will use a code reader on the vehicle for free. Have the fault code checked. If it is a simple O2 Sensor then yes you could get away with driving it like that or simply pick up the Sensor and Wrench from the store for about $40 and change it yourself. If it is a minor Vacum leak double check your gas cap to make sure it is properly tightend down. Anything else I would take teh time to repair first.
