First check the nozzle to be sure it is not blocked. Then listen for the washer pump to buzz, or hum when you turn the washers on if you dont hear any noise you most likely need to replace the washer pump.

Cobalt 2010 Windsheald stopped spraying liquid.

With vehicle off and key on, activate washer and listen for motor running. If motor not running, check fuses. If fuse is good, use test light to check harness while someone activates washer motor. If power present, motor needs replacement. If no power, and fuse is good, check for broken wiring.

Do the front and rear window wash pumps run off the same fuse?

wiring problem possibly, do you have a millimetre? check to see if the pump is getting power then go from there!

I have a 116 BMW and the rear washer stop working. I checked the fuses shown on the fuse locations but they are good/ Are there other fuses I should check?

The first thing to check is make sure the washer fluid tank is full, they usually have 2 levels where fluid it pulled, up higher for the rear and down lower for the front (think of it as a reserve for the front).

Otherwise the most likely cause is that the line or spray head is plugged or the rear pump has gone bad, but could also be the switch.

You could start by pulling the line at the rear spray head and try to see if runs when the line is open. If so, drain and run hot water through the system to see if that clears the issue.

If you can, use a test light or meter at the rear pump to conform there is power when you call for fluid.

Hope this helps.

Where is fuse for windshield wiper pump located ? fluid does not spray and no sound from motor. Motor was replaced still does not work. Rear window defogger does not work. Thank You

This must be the fuse and is found under the dash within the car. If the fuse blows out then you must check the wiring to the front washer motor and to the rear.
Disconnect and check the rear and the front washers.

My front windshield washer fluid is in op. wipers work but fluid doesn't spray. is it electrically connected to the rear windshield washer motor? could it be a fuse? how do I trouble shoot?

no the front is not in power with rear they are seperate. check wire plug (connector) at pump,( i assume pump is mounted on or in reservoir ) with test light for power while a helper depresses the spray switch. check for a blown fuse, check switch, check wiring

My 2000 jeep wind sheild washer fuild not coming out. But reservoir is full

Do you hear a whirring when you try to use the washer fluid? If so, the washer fluid pump is still working, if not you will need to replace it. If the pump works, then the problem is most likely the y-fitting that splits the washer fluid between the 2 spray nozzles. I had the center blow out of mine on my dodge. It is under that plastic grate in front of the windshield where your spray nozzles are located. a Y-fitting can be found at a napa or autozone for $2.00 max. Good luck

Rear windshield washer works but front does not....Any suggestions? Washer fluid is full, fuses are good, wipers work but no fluid or sound of pump running when lever is used to spray fluid on front...

Probably need to replace the pump. Separate pumps for front and rear. Check with a test light to see if there is power to the pump. If it has power but won't work, replace the pump. If no power, you have a wiring issue. Be sure to turn the switch on and have someone push the washer button when you are checking for power. There won't be any until you push it to "wash".

Washer fluid pump will not work, on my 2001 Ford Windstar

Check for power to the pump, making sure the wiring is not severed. Check the fluid lines, and especially the tips. If the pump operates and still no washer solution check the tips. The solution dries right at the tips and is so thick and crystalized that no spray is possible.

Odyssey rear window washer fluid not spraying where is reservior

The reservoir is the same one for the front washers. There are two electric pumps on the base of the reservoir (one for front and one for rear). You probably need a new pump. It is accessible behind the panel in front of the front right wheel.
