where is the drain plug for the radiator on a 2000 - c2d1fde.jpgOk looking at all different Manufactors, and i have'nt seen one with a radiator drain plug..So if you are tring to flush your raditor, just take off the bottom radiator hose, and run a hose in the radiator, and flush it out the best way you can...Then top it off with a Gallon of coolant, and you should be fine...Goodluck...

I want to drain all of the coolant, not just what was in the radiator, so a gallon of antifreeze will not suffice.

Hello! Look at the bottom rear of the radiator; drain plug is hidden by the lower hose.

SOURCE: can't find radiator drain on 2003 buick lesabre

Driver side bottom of radiator tank, hard to see, jack up the car and get under it, and look up you will see the valve, has a black plastic knob that looks like an old fashioned key head, unsrews counter clockwise.

SOURCE: where is the radiator drain plug for 1992 buick lesabre

The radiator drain plug should be on the bottom of the radiator. It looks like a wingnut sticking out from the radiator about 2 inches or so on the engine side of the radiator. Usually at one of the corners. It doesn't come all the way out, so when you loosen it, stop when you have a good flow. With the radiator cap off helps it to drain better. I really hope that I answered your question. Best wishes.

SOURCE: transmission plugs different

Not if one is a 4t60e and the other is a 4t65e, they are not interchangable. The 1995 should be a 4t60e, It has a round plug toward the radiator and also has a vac modulator. The 2000 should be a 4t65e, It has a bigger round plug coming through the top of the side cover, toward drivers fender, and no vac modulator.

Check on the driver side . The drain can be located on the bottom of the radiator. It has prongs that sticks down and can be turned with 3/4 inch socket.

Where is the drain plug on the radiator buick regal 2000

Many newer automobile no longer have a Radiator Drain ****. If you do have one it will be located near the bottom of one of the Radiator Tanks in the "Most Inaccessible place imaginable". All you need to do is loosen the Hose Clamp on the Lower Radiator Hose and work the Hose free to drain the system. Be careful not to damage the Plastic Radiator Tank in the process of loosening the Hose.

Want to change out coolent in radiator myself is it a wise choice

Things you will need:
Radiator coolant mixture (get from garage)
Radiator flush fluid (also from garage)
Distilled water (Or if your me garden hose water ;) )

Take off the radiator cap when engine is COOL. Find the drain plug located in the bottom of the radiator (normaly hand tight) and let it drain out into a catch container. Put the drain plug back in, follow the instructions on the flush container topping the radiator back up. Let engine run as directed on bottle and then carefuly undo the radiator cap using a rag as not to burn yourself. Then remove the plug again and drain out the flush fluid. Then repeat the process with the radiator fluid as instructed on the bottle.
