Question about 2003 Ford Mustang

I have a Ford Mustang GT 2003 that has a bad roaring sound in the rearend. What might be the problem?

Have you checked the rear axle fluid? Might be a bad bearing in the pinion or an axle bearing might be bad. Refer to a Hanes or Chilton manual on fluid maintenance in the rear axle and bearing check/replacement .

Have your rear brakes checked and your diferential fluid it might also be a rear bearing hope this helps

I'd start by having the tires balanced and remounted. Rotating them wouldn't hurt either. Start there.

Roar on the right side


Its probably the left side, not only because you replaced the right side, but because it changes on right turns.
When you go into a right turn, the bearings on the left side are under more pressure and torque.
The front hub bearing goes bad more often than the axle bearing, so I would expect it to be the left front.

Engine noise


you may just having some fanbelt problem. it maybe a little loose, try to tighten it. hope this helps, have a nice day

make sure the clamp on the big hose that connects to the thermostat housing isn't decfective or loose it might be spraying fluid on housing

I have a 2003 ford mustang gt stick shift. clutch sliping


sounds like you have a worn or misadjusted clutch, but if your clutch is self adjusting meaning a operated with hydraulic pressure (Brake Fluid) then you could have leaking slave cylinder that maybe wetting the clutch disc with brake fluid causing a slippage, or just a worn clutch, in which case you will need to inspect inside bellhousing...

Need to be more specific. Could be rearend or trans, have seen whell bearings go out.
