Question about 2004 Lincoln Navigator

How do you replace the starter ? The owner, a neighbor, replaced his battery on a 2004 Lincoln Navigator and now the vehicle won't turn over. The starter just clicks.

Was it a new or used battery if it was used it might not have enough juice if it was new then u check the battery terminals an wires running to the starter red poss cable an a ground (blk)

My Lincoln Navigator air suspension went flat after we replaced all four tires, it won't air back up...please help!!!


AIR COIL SPRINGS WILL DEFLATE AND BE DAMAGED IF YOU DID NOT TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM BEFORE RAISING VECHICLE AND CHANGE TIRES IF YOU DONT TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION IT WILL CAUSE AIR SPRINGS TO OVER INFLATE CAUSE AIR SPRING SPRING DAMAGE.

My starter stays engaged on my 1999 lincoln navigator i already replaced solenoid , starter and ignition box


If the battery voltage is low,it will do this,try using a slow charger,and charge the battery 10 hours,or replace the battery.

your owner manual will list the bulb. It is expensive. tascafordparts.com for discount from Ford Dealer

here's 2003, don't have 2004

Navigator high intensity discharge (HID) headlamp
  1. Remove the front radiator air deflector.
  1. Remove the three bolts and the headlamp assembly.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

8. Remove the headlamp bulb protective cover(s).
  • Remove the HID lamp cover.
  • Remove the high beam cover.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector and push the grommet into the headlamp assembly.

  1. Release the spring tabs and remove the HID low beam bulb.
