Question about 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix
I drove my 2006 grandprix for about 70 km. and then stopped for about 3 min. when I restarted it ir reved to about 200 rpms and the dropped down to 1200. The Temp. gage dropped below the zero mark and never came back up can you tell me what is wrong Thanks
Is there coolant in the cooling system? If there is not enough coolant the sensor won't pick up a signal because it's not sumerged. It could be the thermostat is stuck open. Are you in a cold climate, is your anti-freeze stong enough? Your cooling system could be froze. If my calculations are correct 70 km is a little over 4 miles. I'm thinking frozen radiator.
