Open the hood and look at the battery. If the terminals are on top it is 'regular'. If the screw posts are on the side they are side mounted screw posts. If you have a Walmart in your community you should be able to look this up yourself in their automotive department. They have electronic guides that lead you to the exact battery that you need.

Testimonial: "It is a 2000 concorde, you can't look under the hood and see the battery. The walmart idea was great, that worked."

Hello Babycakes.
The 8th digit in the vehicle identification number is the code for engine size.
The VIN # can be found on the drivers door sticker or at the base of the front windshield on the left side.
3.3 flex fuel is VIN 3
3.3 regular is VIN R
3.8 is VIN L

There you are. If you need further assistance ask me here.

Hi, the deep cycle battery is for the home part and should charge through the external connector port. The regular battery is for the engine. Is the regular battery charged up too?

Whenever you disconnect the battery the computer loses its adaptive memory--the changes from factory programming it makes to compensate for wear. So it has to relearn all those adaptive values. Quit screwing around with the battery and you won't have to deal with it again. OR, keep the memory alive using a jumper pack. Read this post

There are three screws in the wheel well on either side plus a few regular bolts on top. Just pull out from the wheel well and go around.

Driving out pressed in ball joints

I wonder if maybe they aren't screw in instead of press in. I don't know a lot about Chrysler products but I did own a couple of older full size cars and the ball joints screwed in. They had a special socket to change them but I used a pipe wrench and it worked. They had a regular right hand thread. If this doesn't work you may have to repost. Hope this helps.

Hello ! my 1999 chrysler concorde shows (check

You need to have the codes read to determine what is wrong. Bring it to a parts store, this is a free service. They will plug a hand held scan tool into the cars diagnostic port (under the dash), and 'read' codes stored on the cars computer. They can tell you what the code(s) mean, and suggest how to fix the problem. If you have any questions after that, post the codes and questions (and engine size) here.
