This is caused by the horn contacts touching due to a warped airbag cover, in order to fix this u must replace the airbag on the steering wheel, I suggest u do a used airbag search, as a new one cost about $1000.00

Ignition was not working the key wont go in,after it was fixed the horn wont work what could be the problem?

horn fuse is blown, locate fuse box, sometimes there are 2 , one in car and 1 under hood, engine compartment.
use your cars manual to see horn fuse and replace with same fuse.
If the fuse is burned out, replace it. Try the horn again. Check your car owner's manual for the location and type of fuse. Check whether there is any debris obstructing the horn button on your steering wheel that may be preventing the horn from sounding

Check your wiring diagram and check for power coming out of the horn relay. Suspect a bad relay.

Hi. I have a 99 Honda Accord 2.0 VTi. I'm the 3rd owner of the car, so I no longer have the manual to it. Two questions: My car over-heated today. The coolant container was empty & there is a leak...

Yes you need to have the leak fixed [ ASAP ], it's the cause of over-heating problems. It sounds like there is a wire that's chaffed bare inside the steering coulum that's grounding making the horn sound.

I need to get a fuse box layout for 1999 Saturn SL2. The horn is not working in my sons car and we would like to determine whether or not it is the fuse. We can't tell which fuse is for the horn because...

The saturn horns ARE notorious for failing, you may have to replace the horn because it has a built in horn relay that is the cause of the failure. YOU WILL KEEP BLOWING FUSES if the horn is not working because it's grounding out through the bad relay that is built into the horn. DON'T go with a loud or aftermarket horn if you don't know how to wire it safely or you will fry the clock spring in the steering wheel, just stick with the stock horn and you will be fine.

How do i fix my car horn for my 2000 honda accord? i cant find the fuses under the hood or by my wheel. So how do i need whether its the horn, the wire or fuses?

In that case take out the horn from the car ,then you connect the 2 wires that go on,then put the 2 wires ,on the battery 1 on the negative and 1 on positive pole, then you hear if it horns or not,so you know where you are to fix the problem.

92 accord horn stopped working after going thought

If your fuse is not blown, then you'll want to test the horn voltage with a test light at the horn while the horn switch is being pressed.

I would suggest unplugging the horn & just testing the wire for 12V + and if you have voltage there but the horn won't work when reconnected you'll have to replace the horn.

If the voltage is missing at the horn connection when you do the test, then it has to be either the fuse or the relay, and finally, the switch on the steering wheel. Wiring is a last consideration based upon the circumstance.

The owners manual will have the fuse & relay location.

It of course would be a coincidence for it to be anything but the horn & I do expect that the horn is bad or has a bad connection which you'll correct when you reconnect it after testing! good luck

2006 honda accord horn

Hi there. I’m pretty sure your Honda has two horns fitted which work together, but each one has a different tone. Of course, when one of the horns is not working the sound (tone) of the horn system sounds different. Any reasonable Auto Electrician will be able to locate the horn/s and quickly identify whether it’s an electrical problem or just a faulty horn – in this case it’s probably one non-working horn which should be replaced. Hope this helps, Scottech.
