Hello. Begin by changing the fuse to the seat. Sometimes, even though the fuse appears to be ok it is not. Therefore, change it with a new one of the same amperage. If that does not solve your problem look under the seat for a disconnected wire. regards, Joe

2010 FORD TAURUS LTD. HEATED DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS WONT STAY ON HOW CAN I FIX THIS

Please don't type in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and is very hard to read.

It is a simple circuit, a fuse, a switch, a relay and the heating element. The most likely reason is a faulty element on one of the seats.

Driver side seat heater light comes on and goes right out seat wont heat up passenger side works fine

The problem lies in the drivers side seat, the heating element for the back of the seat or the seat heating element has an open or shorted circuit. the part from ford will run you about $150.00 dollars.

PASSENGER SEAT WONT HEAT UP--BUT LIGHTS COME ON AS IF IT IS WORKING2002 TRAILBLAZER

Find and check the connectors under the seat for looseness, sometimes these get knocked loose by items pushed under the seat.

Then check the resistance between the connectors going to the seat with a multimeter. They should read something - it they don't the heating pads are shorted (broken).

Then check the voltage at the connector going to the seat with the car and seat heat switch on.

This should tell you where the problem is, please post results here.

Front heated seats wont work and i replaced the switch. What else could it be.. Its both the seats.

The heated seat relay has gone bad for sure on yours if the elements are good. Its highly unlikely both would burn out the same time

this is a common problem if you use the seat heater alot.one or both of the seat heater elements will have burned up or broken.where i live it is very cold most of the time and i have replaced hundreds of the seat heater elements.it is rare for it not to be one or both of the elements.
