I have a 92 mazda 929, my fuel pump went out so I put in a new one, it started up, then died and now it won't start. What's the problem? I changed all the spark plugs as well.

Check gas filter located at the engine compartment, passenger side. Might be cloged. Unplug the gas line before gas filter to check gas pressure coming out, If so, your filter needs replacement.

I have a 92 Mazda protege. U have to drive it with both feet even though it's an automatic and it will died on u as ur driving down the road. It will restart after sometime of it setting or sometimes it...

If its automatic driving with one or two feet will not matter. As for dying while driving there is a few things to check. Air filter has it been changed recently? Fuel filter? And fuel pump. Your description of less mileage sounds like air filter first. If its severely dirty change it and see how it goes first.

I have a 92 honda accord and it keeps dieing

Fuel pump relays are a common problem with Hondas.
I would check the fuel pressure when it won't start.
You may also have a problem with the fuel filter or the pump.
There is a long list of possibilities.
Is the check engine light on ?

I have a 1991 Mazda 929. I am having problems starting it. The battery is a good battery, however I do not think it is getting enough gas to the engion. I do not know if I need to replace the fuel pump or...

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. When you first turn the key, you should be able to hear the fuel pump kick on. You should hear a buzzing sound for a second or two. It may be the fuel pump, clogged filter, bad injectors, fuel pump fuse, relay, or reset, if equipped. It could be in the ignitions. Let me know if the pump is kicking on and we will take it from there. If it is not, check to see if it is the fuel pump fuse or relay. I am not sure which ones you have. It should be marked in the fuse box though.

While driving my 1993 929 down the road it just stopped running...had it checked out was told ti would be best to get a new motor and got a second opinion and was told to get a timing belt and fuel pump....

before going crazy , check the crank sensor out, a bad crank sensor will cause timing to be out of sync. more then likely engine will not start. or irregular rpm function if vehicle starts at all. it controls timing and sends info to pcm. if a crank sensor fails while driving the engine will die out. have scanned if check engine light is on. CPS symtoms are: car dies and won't re-start till it cools down, or won't start at all.
first of all, if crank sensor is ok, then you can check the timing belt.

Engine quits running after starting.

Check the fuel pump pressure while it is running and begins to die, the fuel pump has 2 circuits, one supplies power while you start the engine, the other after the engine is running, you may have an issue with the run circuit of the fuel pump.
