Question about 2002 Jaguar X-Type
NEW BATTERY PUT IN KEY, BUT CAR WILL STIL NOT RECOGNISE TO OPEN HAVE TO KEEP OPENING WITH THE KEY AND PUTTING IN IGNITION MANUALLY IS THERE SOME WAY WITHOUT TAKING IT TO JAGUAR WHO WILL CHARGE A LOT.
The power should have been maintained by an alternate source while battery was being chaged so this does not happen. computer needs a talking to now (reprogram) it does not recognize key, thinks car is being stolen.
