Question about 2006 Mazda 6

Open Question

Both back windows on my 2006 Mazda work properly, but the 2 front windows no longer work. I checked the fuses and they're fine. Is it possible the motors went out at the same time, or is ther'tr other possible solutions??

a fuse is likely for the dash... but i would look for the relay that controls the windows as that is the likely culprit for the window issue

SOURCE: 2006 Mazda 6 Power windows and Mirrors not working?

Hi, I have the same problem in my car which is a Mercedes c180 which I might have the solution for the problem. I have traced the problem to the window control module which is found under the interior door panel. you would need to do a test to verify it is similar to my problem. Remove the fuses from the fuse box that corresponds with the windows that are faulty for a few seconds, then replace the fuse which should reset the control module. If it is the same problem as mine the windows will work temporary, which I believe is a faulty window control module. Please let me know how you go.

your problem is in the power control feed. either the drivers or passengers switches are broken or the wire harness has a broken wire in it.

SOURCE: four win stuck up for Mazda 2001. fuse is working

I have a 2000 Mazda MPV where the same thing just happened. Unfortunately it came back for a second, and my wife pushed one down. I took it to a glass shop, and found that the driver side power window switch was bad. It runs about $178.00 at the dealership. It takes about 2-3 days to order. Unfortunately not even the import places carry it. I did find a few used on Ebay for about $50-$70.

SOURCE: My windows on my 2006 Mazda 6 wont go up or down.

If all other windows work, check the power window switch, if you have power in and out of switch while switching switch from up to down, bad window motor.

My rear window wiper blade and the the fluid for the window dont work. the front ones are fine and the fluid also comes out but the back ones dont even move and the fluid doesn't come out. pls help,

The wiper motor and pump motor are not being energized. Since they both do not work it has to be something they both have in common like a fuse.

Check your car manual for a description of what fuse is for what. When you find the fuse that takes care of those motors replace it.

If all other windows work, check the power window switch, if you have power in and out of switch while switching switch from up to down, bad window motor.

Window problems with 2006 Dodge Magnum SXT

You may want to try and pull fuse 11 or unplug the negative battery terminal for 10-15 seconds and reconnecting/inserting.  You can also try a key dance to check for an internal errors, im not sure if a window motor would throw any however.
