Question about 2007 Pontiac Torrent AWD
I have a 2007 Pontiac Torrent. It has about 55,000 miles on it. I have just started having issues with th electrical system. It seems that after the car warms up the turn signal stops working. I also noticed that the door lock switch doesn't work. The remote does. The radio doesn't turn off when the car door opens. The stabilitrack switch doesn't work. After sitting for 10 minutes the systems work as normal.
The body control module is causing all those problems. It may just be a loose connection or the module is going intermittent bad.

turning left and stalling sounds like your power steering pressure switch is bad.as for other problem try unlocking drivers door using the key this should reset the factory alarm. also make sure you didn't miss a wire when reconnecting bat. look for 12gauge red wire near bat. this goes to computer if not connected car will crank but not start.

notorious done if before, remove the door panel. BE CAREFUL WITH BEAUTY CAPS, CAN BE EASILY BROKEN (PLASTIC) when you remove the door panel go ahead and closed the driver door and activate the door lock button. you will see the bracket is either loose or it off. it looks the a coat hanger when you stretch it out. Reconnect it and lithium grease, test it and its a wrap.

SOURCE: ECT sensor 2007 Pontiac Torrent
no just lower the level or be quick about plugging in the new sensor, that is what I do, u may lose a cup of coolant but much less hassle than draining the radiator.

Turn the key to the run position, Within 5 seconds press and release the gas pedal three times. The change engine oil light will flash while the system is resetting. Turn off the ignition. If the light or message comes back on and stays on when the vehicle is started, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure.
