15 and 16mm wrenches, make sure you install the new brass washer's to the fuel line's or it will leak fuel.

Replacing a fuel pump

Relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery cable with a socket wrench. Remove the spare tire cover (if present) and trunk floor so that you can open the access panel and disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pump.
  • Remove the fuel pump's electrical connector and disconnect the quick connect fitting from the fuel pump. Remove the fuel tank locknut using tool 07AAA-S0XA100 or the fuel tank retaining bolts with a socket wrench, depending on the year and engine. Remove the fuel tank.
  • Install the new fuel pump using the items included in the kit and be sure to replace the gasket and O-rings. Align the arrows on the fuel tank and pump.
  • Complete the installation by reversing the removal procedure.

I need to replace the fuel pump in my '91 honda accord. I know the pump is under the rear seat. I will also replace the relay. How difficult should this be? Any tips? Thanks for the help!!

you need to remove the fuel tank from the car, the you can access the fuel pump. make sure you drain all the fuel inside the tank before removing the fuel tank as it can be very heavy and dangerous.

Looking for the fuel pump relay or sensor

The Fuel pump relay is part of the EFI main relay and can not be replaced separately. The EFI main relay is located behind the dash, left of the steering wheel.
