Where is the bcm located on a 2000 pontiac firebird

It is behind the kick panel on the driver's side. Rather, it is just above that, but you'll need to remove the kick panel and the knee pad (part under steering wheel) to get to it.

My son has aq 1997 Firebird. The temp guage keeps showing the engine overheating. The car then shuts down, and will restart immeadiately. When we check the engine it does not feel over hot, It does mnot...

If the engine still has water in it and it is not leaking then replace the tempture sending unit. Just make sure that it is not running hot and make sure that the water is circulating it could also be needing a cooling system flush. But it is hard to say without seeing the car just make sure that the water level has not gone down and if it has a coolent recovery tank make sure that the hose that connects the tank to the radeator is not leaking and that the tank is also not leaking.

2000 pontiac firebird windows sometimes wont go down or up and its not the window motors it has an alarm installed if u hit the dash sometimes it helps

With the security system I have been told you can get a sensor that you plug into your security system that came standard with the car. THis system is located under the plastic that covers your speakers on the passenger side in the back. If you unplug the sensor and then pick up a relay from radio shack it acts the same as reading your key that is in your car and will allow you to roll the windows up or down when the key is in the ignition
