Question about 1994 Lexus GS 300
I have 1994 Lexus GS 300 automatic transmission, recently I replaced the ATF and filter, my mechanic filled the Acedelco type H III fluid but in dip stick has mentioned that type T II. Mechanic told nothing will happen and this is good for your car, most of the websites also shows there is nothing different betwen two. I need your suggestion regarding this issue.will it cause any problem to my transmission?
I know from experience that you should only use manufacturer recommended fluids in your transmission, Especially toyota, they are very peculiar about the fluids you use in them. Although the fluid you put in it may not cause any harm, it is always best to use the fluids recommended.
