Check for obstructions as clogged mesh strainer inside the tank or so .

Fuel pump?


Remove your fuel line going into the fuel injector rail.
Place key on the ON position and see if fuel comes out or not. If nothing check your fuel system fuses and relays. If nothing check that you have fuel in the tank. If nothing then replace your fuel pump.

Fuel pump wont shut off turn key on it comes on to pressurize then it wont shut off but there are no leaks


There is an oil pressure switch in parallel with fuel pump relay, if that switch is closed, the fuel pump will run all the time. Click on the link. At the fuel injectors, top wire is voltage, bottom wire is ground. If there is no ground, both wires will have voltage. Make sure battery has a full charge.

the security lamp has nothing to do with the running of the veh get it scaned for dtcs

I have a mazda b2500 2wd pickup truck. i drove it home then tried to change antennae. it wouldnt start so i change fuel filter...nothing. then i read about the fuel pump shut off...i presses the red button...


Some "check engine" light in dashboard when try to start?

If truck starts up but will just not stay running without feathering the throttle then this would be the first thing to suspect.

Next step, check and test fuel pump and fuel pump pressure.

1986 Jaguar XJ6 Won't start. rolls over but that is it. replaced fuel pump relay and fuel pump. seems to have fuel at pump inlet, nothing comes out the outlet. I am lost. car ran out of gas before this...


if your fuel pump and relay are new, how about your fuel filter, if your fuel pump is working but no fuel turns out, check fuel pump polarity, if ok, there will be a clogging in fuel lines, take a high pressure air and plug it to fuel outlet in fuel lines test port, allow air to go back up to fuel tank and observe if the air goes, if not, check or change fuel line, if the air goes to tank, direct your fuel relay pin 30 and 87 and check if the fuel runs to the injectors, if not, change a good fuel pump

Dodge cummins won't start, fuel reaching injector pump but no fuel coming out of injector pump.


You said you have fuel flowing from the inlet line of the injection pump? But not at the injector lines?

85 s-10 2.5l no fuel from the injectors


electronic engine control unit calculates the mass of fuel to inject, not how wide it sprays. It's the type of solenoid that you use. Some have wider spray nzzles than others. An external Fuel pump helps the delivery of the fuel. Also since fuel injectors rely on mass air flows nowadays, you have to have proper mixture coming through. hows your Fuel pressure regulator?

The throttle position sensor reports to the computer the position of the throttle butterfly valve, which the ECM uses to calculate the load upon the engine-but inorder for this to run, you may need an external pump.

Sounds like nothing is being grounded back to the ECM to even give a reading. If your regulator is improper and you do not have a external pump (depending on your model), than check those. If not, Start from scratch.

If you ever lose your way, go back to the beginning_REWIRE!
