Front wipers arms going extreamly slow and you can hear the wiper motor maybe a fuse ?

the wiper motor could be the problem. could also be the mechanism
needs a lube or replacing. also, lift the wiper arms off the glass so they stand up then switch on wipers. if goes right , the motor is being overloaded. if still slow, the motor needs replacing.

How do you get the trim cover off to fix the the wiper moter ??

You need to remove the wiper arms first, then there are either 5 push in style plastic retainers or T25 torx screws that need to be removed. Then open the hood and remove the underhood cowl seal. Next remove the plastic cowl panel. The wiper motor is directly under it.

Using a small flat blade screwdriver and prying up.Then remove the 13mm headed nut.remove the stripped arm and clean the splines on the stem where you removed the arm.Turn your key on and turn your wipers off. After you see the stems stop moving then reinstall the arm on the bottom of the windshield like they be when not being used.If the vehicle has factory windshield in the windshield may have dots or lines where the wipers should sit on the windshield when parked.next tighten the nut and try out the wipers to make sure they move correctly.

Remove the wiper arm, and turn the on the wiper, and
see if the wiper moter gear turns back and forth.
If the gear works, the inside of the wiper arm. The wiper gear or both are striped.Very common problem in the winter. Hope this helps. Good luck.
