Question about 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck
Gauges in my 2000 Dodge Ram wont' work. Lights on dash do, but the gauges don't.

did u look at the fuses under the hood there might be one there other than that sounds like you wiring went bad or the part of your switch is bad replace the switch

No Cluster Buss Message is codeP1687. May be a cluster problem obviously but appears other things can cause it also. With price of a new or used cluster I would try a few things like pushing diagnostic button on dash, and let it go through the steps, as well as a battery disconnect for a few minutes then reconnect, just to see if you get lucky. if not, make sure you get assurance that whatever the repair shop says is wrong, if it doesn't cure the problem, you don't pay. SOURCE: gauges and odometer don't work
unfurtanetely the the board is burned out due to moisture on the wiring, you may have to replace the board but keep in mind that the wiring must be dry.

check the fuses in your manual it will tell you which fuses are for the dash and replace them it sounds to me like they are blown! good luck
