Location for blower motor fuse on a 1994 ford escort hatch

this isnt the heatercore as it is producing heat and the blower is a fan. the issue could be there is a bad connection to the blower or that the fuse is no longer good.

I have a ford escort 1.8 diesel car when its cold its really hard to start i ahve changed the oil and glow plugs and fitted a new fuel filter any ideas any1 ?

Dont try to start the car when the yellow heater sign goes off, wait for about 10 to 15 seconds after , or until you hear the heater plug relay click, then try.
On a lot of cars , the yellow lamp goes off after a very short time , yet the plugs are not hot enough and the heater plug relay is still working.
Hope this helps

Blower moter will not work

Check the 30 amp fuse in the fuse box under the instrument panel on the drivers-side. If it's alright remove the connector from the heater resistor mounted on the passengers side close to the blower motor. These are usually secured with small hex headed screws. With the ignition switch in run, turn the heater on and use a test light to see if you have voltage coming to any of the connector pins. If you don't you'll need to trace back until you locate the problem. If you do have voltage check the resistor. Don't forget to turn off the ignition switch.

Heat

Check out your heater control valve and make sure it is working properly, also make sure the deflector door for heat and cool is completely closing/opening. Also make sure it is completely full of coolant.

Heater core

sorry to say, but the car at best is only worth about $1100. Most likely more like $800. A professional heater core will cost $600 to install. This is a very-very-VERY big job to do yourself...if you never done one. I say, take the $600 you would have to spend, sell the car for $300-$400 needing a core, and buy something else with that money. No offense, just the reality of the situation. Sometimes you need someone to just say it.
