when i press the clutch down and into first it goes in nicely then sometime into 2nd dosent go have to push a little harder or doubble clutch then goes in verry rare 3rd does it i have had a look at the ajuster on the cable and it has alot of ajusting left on it plus the clutch bitting point is higher than on any other cars it sounds like the cable is stretched to me but i am not qualified only level 2 motor vehicle at colage
Try adjusting the cable a bit and see if it makes a difference. Keep track of how many turns you make on the adjuster so if you need to,you can go back to where it was before you began. Could be a stretched cable or the disc may have worn a bit.If it's not slipping you may still have a few miles left in it. I'm betting that the disc is worn. The gears that are difficult to engage may have worn synchros. A clutch problem will aggravate that.
