Yes you are correct...This is the oil change indicator/check light.The ecm has a built in oil level/interval change period preprogrammed in the vehicle.A simple oil change will cure this light on your vehicle.A set of ramps, metric wrenches, and an oil drain bucket will be what you need to complete this if you would like to do this yourself.Happy holidays!!
