The most probable cause of that clunk is the radius arm bushings need replacing i have done LOTS of those . if you are not a mechanic or have limited skill this repair is fairly difficult..( not being rude just trying to save you a headache ) the radius arm extends rearward from front axle to frame..one on each side . look at the bushings where it goes through the frame bracket there should be a rubber bushing on both sides of that frame bracket and they should be compressed with no gap.. i hope that helps

The driver side outer cv joint has worn ,you will find if you put all the weight of the car on the drivers side it will clunk when driven in a circle then try it oppisite lock it shouldnt make that much noise.the bearings have worn in the outer cv joint easy job to replace.

I have a 1999 3 door saturn that vibrates and shakes at 60-65 mph also when brakeing you can feel it only on the front drivers side and steering wheel I HAD THE TIRES ROTATED AND IT STILL DOES IT

it is most likely a wheel bearing problem.. which could lead to serious problems. if i were you i would not take it on the highway, until you get this checked by a mechanic who knows what theyre doing, and replace the wheel bearing.
