The water leaking issue may have cause the blower operation issue. there is a drain for the a/c housing that comes out at the bottom side of the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle under the hood that likes to clog up and build water in the housing. the water then runs into the blower motor causing corrosion in the motor and usually the connector at the blower melts as well. the blower is easy to change, the connector is not as easy but shouldn't be too bad. the blower can be found just under the glove box and has a 2 wire connector

1995 Pontiac Grand AM SE. Heater fan works for weeks then won't go, try a couple hours later then it goes.

It sounds like the brushes on armature for (blower motor ) are worn. Sometime a bad spot on the armature from not being used often and also by being in the engine compartment where it is exposed to condensation. When the brushes stop at that particular spot, the blower will not start spin process unless it draws alot of current that may be why the fuse blew. You can remove the blower and examine or just make the change.

My front blower motot is no longer working on my 2010 dodge grand caravan

You need to clear the water drain for the blower motor housing, and replace the blower motor is my guess here. Remove the blower motor and check the bottom of the housing it sits inside, there is a hole there, it will be blocked with leaves or other detritus like mouse nests. Use a coat hangar or any thick wire to clear it. Once clean the water problem will go away. As far as the blower goes next time it won';t work hot the end of it with a pieces of wood and see if it starts, if it does then the blower motor is defective. The blower motor is under the dash on the passenger side,.

Water under pasenger side carpet not from heater core

Find the drain for the A/C located under the hood, firewall, nearest the bottom of the firewall. It will be a black tube and if plugged, the condensation from use of the A/C (which also turns on when the defrost is used to evaporate moisture) will back up into the blower box and drain onto the floor. Long term effects include; rotted floor board, mildew, shorted blower motor and loss of effective defrosting, heating and cooling. Use a coat hanger or other long thin item to clear the drain and allow the water to drain. The system will be much more efficient. Let me know if you need anything else.

In the past I have had major water leaks in my 2005 grand prix. I never knew wehre the water came from. Now, I can hear water under my car shifting whenever I turn a corner. Where is it coming from??

Do you have a sun roof? I imagine you do.

Under the roof cover there is a tube on each side of the car that drains the sunroof area to the ground. Either a tube has been disconnected or come loose. This will cause severe mold and mildew problems if not fixed soon.

Water leaking in on pasenger side floor

It sounds like you may have pinched the 12 volt wire that supplies the blower motor with power, and the seal between the motor and housing is letting in water. Try removing the blower motor and look for the pinched wire where it may be short circuited, and reseal the motor to the housing with a new gasket or silicone sealer.
