If you follow the ground wire back from the blower motor it will lead to the blower motor resistor plug
after you unplug the resistor there will usually be
2 screws one on either side of the plug remove the
screws and carefully remove the resistor

Yes. I have that site open in another window. Found it after I posted. Not exactly the photos I was looking for but I think it has pointed me in the right direction.... On the 96 Explorer it is closer to the bottom of the the blower assembly. Gonna be a tight fit. And it's Minus 20 celcius too. Gonna have to pull the tools into the house to warm up before I get started.
