not sure about the P1334 CODE BUT WILL THE TPS SENSOR MAKE THE VEHICLE NOT HAVE ANY POWER.
I HAD THE HEADS REBUILT AND SENCE I PUT THESE HEADS BACK ON THE ENGINE IT WILL CRANK BUT WANT PULL THE HAT OFF YOUR HEAD IT HAS NO POWER. I JUST THROYGHT THAT MAYBE THE TWO LITTLE CAAMS ON TOP OF THE HEAD (INTAKE AND EZAUST) MIGHT BE OFF. WHEN I FIRST PUT THE HEADS ON THE ENGINE IT DID NOT HAVE ANY COMPRESSION ON THE RIGHT SIDE. I CALLED THE MACHINE SHOP AND THEY SENT OUT A GUY. HE HAD TO SWOP THE INTAKE AND EZAUST AROUND BECAUSE HE GOT THEM CROSSED. HOW DO I CHECK THE TWO CAMS ON BOTH HEADS TO MAKE SURE HE HAS THEM TIMED RIGHT. I HAVE DOUABLE CHECKED THE TIMING BELT IT HAS ALL THE TIMING MARKS IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

Aah I see. Let's start from the beginning then. Standing in front of the car and starting from YOUR left , looking at the cams you should see RE, RI, LI, LE on each of the camshafts.(R for right bank, L for left bank, I for intake and E for exhaust) Right bank camshafts are marked with one dot, left bank with 2 dots on the shaft itself. To align the camshafts to each other each cam shaft gear has a mark on it. Draw an imaginary line between the centre of the camshaft and the centre of the pulley. The alignment mark should be between the two along this imaginary line. The result will be that RI an RE will be at the top of each gear. The same with the left bank. Also read this: http://www.fixya.com/cars/t3609098-nned_know_set_cam_engine_timing
It explains setting the timing further. Get these set up correctly and then we can dig further. I can post a diagram but haven't figured out how on Fixya yet.

I have a Isuzu rodeo 1994 3.1 in I can't find the

The timing marks are stamped into the head and in the cam pulley, also on the crank and the case, find them and paint them white so you can see them, the new belts have the marks on the belt, they will line up, If they don't , you got it wrong, You can do this without spinning the cams or crank and losing the marks, as long as the belt marks line up, you will be all set. Put the pin in the tensioner before removing the belt. Did you change the water pump? And I think the engine is 3.2L. Get it in there and pull the pin, It should be right on. Turn over the engine by hand a couple times to make sure it comes around on the marks. If it is wrong, it will go about 11 or 12 miles, and you will need a new engine. Hope this helps.

I have isuzu trooper 1988 am changing the timing belt but i forget mark the timing and now i cant get it start.

Take it to a trained mechanic that works on isuzu's. If you have never put a belt on one of these do not attempt it.The cam pulley turns aver three times to one rotation of the camshafts, no marks.

Diagram of markings on timing belt

I repaired a 3.1 4JG2 but the mechanic doesn´t know how to set the injection time. I can see the marks on the crank and camshaft as well as the inyection pulley but if I try to install the belt "just like that", the injection goes wrong with explosions and white smoke. Can anyone help please? Is there any other procedure to follow to time the inyection?
thanks in advance

Timing mark's on isuzu trooper 3.0 td . changed head gasket now engine turn's over as if no compression .

The cam pulley notch goes in line with the mark on the front cam bearing cap and the crankshaft pulley goes at 12 o'clock - its got a tiny mark on the back lip that lines up with the mark on the cover .

Did you take the cams off in one lump or split them ? if you did come back on here for how to time them up .

I pulled the timing belt off and both cams moved.

you will have to turn the engine to dead on cylinder one. and then realign the cams. i dont have access to that particular model but usually there are marks on the cam gears and marks on the head near the gears to align with. i found a link to what i believe to be a similar motor. maybe it will help

Replaced timing belt need do you start at TDC to

For all timing belts you should start with the crank sprocket pointing at TDC and the cam sprockets pointing at their designated marks.

You should be able to mark the old belt and and put corresponding marks on the cam and crank pulleys, then remove the old belt and transfer the marks to the new belt and install it.

Personally I would buy a manual as this would provide you with a step by step guide to performing the repair.

I am not positive that this is an interference engine, it looks like it is to me. If you are not accurate in your timing you will cause severe engine damage.

2000 isuzu trooper 3.2 v-6 dohc camshaft timing marks pulled camshafts to do valve job and need to align marks on drive gear and cams

It's more to it than aligning the marks since the cam pulleys turn about three times or more to one turn of the camshaft on this engine. You need to find someone that is experienced on this vehicle.

Timing isuzu trooper

I just changed the belt in my 2002 Trooper. The new timing belt will have marks on it probably thin white lines. these line will match up with the two cam gears (top right and left) and the crank pulley. The three white lines are spaced differently and the belt will only match up one way. Put the belt next to the existing belt if you can before you start to get an idea how it all lines up. The cam gears and crank all have either a raised line on the metal or a paint mark. By the way, this is a non-interference motor so you won't have to worry about punching a hole in your pistons if you get it wrong. The good thing is as long as you get all three lines lined up, it doesn't matter if the pulleys move (and they will) This job is a two person job and the hardest part is getting the belt tensioner nested and a pin inserted as a keeper. Use a knife and cut the old belt off then unbolt the belt tensioner. Use a vice to slowly compress the tensioner and then insert an allen wrench in the keeper hole. It will be easier if you use small needle nose vice grips to hold the belt in place on each cam pulley. you should be able to finish this job in 3 - 4 hours as long as you know what you are doing and own some metric tools. Good luck.
