Need to have your alternator checked out, also make sure belt is good, and check the charging fuse first.
Most auto parts stores will test them out free of charge provided you take it off.Disconnect battery first!!.

It sounds like the alternator isn't working. If the battery voltage gets below 10.8volts it starts to shut systems down, like engine computer, fuel injectors, electrical loads(lights) etc. Get your alternator tested or replaced. Also make sure you battrey connections are clean and tight. If they are loose the alternator can't replenish the battery power due to excessive resistence in the cables.

well the fast idle is 1 of 2 things, Either the throttle is stuck? or a super nasty vacume leak, Check all hoses carefully, if that proves good check intake leak. Something is allowing tremendous vacume into engine causing this high idle, The charging system is a whole nother story

Ignition module failure how would I know?

All Fuses? Under hood & down by left foot? Sometimes 30/40A fuses can blow & still look OK. Check them with a meter.

Help!

key off and out, diconnect negitive side of battrey then postive.clean terimals, charge battrey, connect postive cable (with key off)connect negitive.and start.
your dead battrey is taking up a big load on system,so when you boost it the dead battrey is taking it all the starter is geeting vey little.thats the clicking.
if you dont have a charger dicconect both terminals the same way again, put the jumper cables on the dead battrey.let it charge battrey for 10 15 mins .the longer the better.remover jumpers.
with key off and out conected battrey terminals.connect jumper cables and start.
let me know if it start or not hopefully the key hasnt lost its coding.
