Check your brake light switch that is mounted to your brake pedal arm under the dash you should be able to find it if you look under the dash from the floorboard up . It will mount to a bracket and it maybe just got knocked out of the bracket. c

What could cause brake lights to work every now and then

I would check your brake light swich located under dash just fallow your brake pedle with a test light see if you have power going to it slitely press brake pedle see if other side of switch has power (key on car not running) if not try ajusting it by pulling on it or unscewing it if all checks out ok replace turn signal switch disconnect battery remove center part of steerring remove center bolt with steerring puller pull steering wheel with locking plate puller pull locking plate remove turn signal handle emergency button three scews holding turn signal under dash fallow steering colum disconect wires on right side (passenger side) tape a long wire to end of connector pull turn signal without pulling tape wire all the way out so you can tape it to new turn signal wire connector to be able to pull wires back down steerring colume (you might have to losen steerring colume and bracket two scews under dash four on steering colume)

When I apply the brakes i hear a clicking noise like a relay, but only clicks when first applied.

Did you ever find a solution to this. I have the same problem. There is a clicking sound that comes from under the dash when I press on the brakes. I'm investigating because I'm getting electrical noise through the radio when I press on the brakes. The clicking is new.

When pressing on my brakes going 15 mph, my brake pedle push back everytime the speed goes down to 10mph just before I come to a stop. Its like the ABS system is kicking and I hear a wineing noise...1992...

This is very common of Hondas if the front rotors have been turned(machined)off of the car or if an inferior quality rotor has been installed. Replace the front rotors and brake pads. This should cure your issue. Let me know if you need any instructions or diagrams.
