Question about 2006 BMW 3 Series
The connection at rear pass side was probably a battery switch installed from factory to turn main power on and off while vehicle sat on the lot it is a 2 pin connection also the other end is in the trunk beside the batterys ibs connection on the same harness, try disconnection the battery compleatly and touching the pos and neg terminals together for 15 to 20 min this is called a hard reset and possibly could solve this issue

Does your gas flap lock when you lock the car? That could be where one harness goes. Do all of your door handle lights come on when you un lock the car? that could be the other. If you can give me some more info on the connections, I can try to find them on my car to help you get your hooked up, let me know
