Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator back to the engine. Where the hose attaches to the engine is where the thermostat housing is.

How do I remove the thermostat from a 1995 buick skylark quad 4


remove the exhaust manifold
remove 2- 8mm bolts at coolant pipe flange
now the coolant pipe that runs under the oil pan remove the bolt at the front of the oil pan lower the pipe down
t-stat is in the top of that pipe at the flange

Where does the thermostat belong? Please be


The upper radiator hose - follow it back to the engine block.
Where it connects is a housing.
Inside this housing (removing the bolts) is the thermostat.

Removal of serpentine belt on a 1996 Buick automobile?


check if it has a tensioner, it look like a useless pully and put a breaker bar on it and pull it and the belt should loosen up, if theres no tensioner the alternator should have bolts to loosen up the belts.
