Question about 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
The daytime running lights are designed to be always on. The only way I can think for you to turn them off is to go to the fuse panel on the left end of your dashboard and pull fuse #8...I'm pretty sure that is the fuse for the DRL module. Check your owner's manual and verify that, ok?

Testimonial: "Thank you very much. Will give it a try."
Push down on your parking brake to the first click, just far enough that the lights go off and the brakes don't drag. Once your done, just release the parking brakes again and the lights should come back on. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
